- Hi Everyone.. I'm just starting to work on graphics in C and I have
- a question. I'm working on alittle dummy program to help grasp graphics
- programming by writing a sorta "push a button - win a prize" game with
- a gif as the prize. My questions are (this is in Borland Turbo C++) 1.)
- how do I read a saved image on my HD and display it on the screen 2.)
- Since I'm going to be reading gif's.. am I going to be have a write a
- routine to decode them 3.) Does Turbo C++ have a standard pic format
- like Basic used to 4.) Can I put all my pics into one binary resource
- file instead of including each gif seperately with the main program and
- finally.. if this is too many questions.. could someone recommend a
- book that would answer these for me and give me some examples for under
- $50. Thanks for any help you can give me.
